Upa Yoga

Activating the body and energy

A simple and powerful way to awaken vitality and prepare yourself for deeper yogic practice.

Upa Yoga means “sub-yoga” or “pre-yoga.” This refined system of ten practices works with the joints, muscles and energy system to awaken the body and establish ease, vitality and balance.

The practices support natural lubrication of the joints, allowing the body to become more supple, responsive and receptive.

Upa Yoga may be practiced independently or as preparation for deeper Hatha Yoga. It requires minimal space and no special equipment, making it valuable for travel, periods of inactivity or simply reconnecting with the body.
