Bhuta Shuddhi
Purification of the five elements
A fundamental yogic practice for harmony, elemental balance and freedom from accumulated patterns.
Bhuta means the five elements—earth, water, fire, air and akasha—and Shuddhi means to cleanse. These elements are understood as the fundamental basis of the physical body and the entire creation.
Bhuta Shuddhi is a fundamental process for bringing greater harmony to these five elements within the human system, supporting a more stable and balanced body, mind and energy.
With regular practice, the system can become more balanced, receptive and capable of handling powerful states of energy. It provides a foundation for deeper yogic exploration.
